This is an extraordinary set of 12 Pairs of Knives and Forks with Sterling Silver heads and Carved Mother of Pearl handles. As the images show, the detail to the Blades and Ferrules is magnificent, and the set is in pristine condition – a perfect example of what Sheffield Silversmiths could manufacture.

All the Knives and Forks are assayed in Sheffield, England.

Each knife and fork is fully hallmarked with the date letter ‘r’ for 1909, the Lion Passant, and the Crown. Made by the highly sought after James Dixon & Sons. JD&S only used the finest of materials; this is shown in the rich colours of the Mother of Pearl & the gauge of the Silver Blades.

The Knives measure 19cm and weigh 42g.
The Forks measure 16cm and weigh 29g.
