Made in Sheffield, England, from Steel and Genuine Ivory Handles. The Carving Knife measures 39cm in length and weighs 215g. The Blade is marked ‘124 Regent Street’. The Carving Fork measures 28cm long and weighs 140g. The Sharpening Steel measures 35.5cm and weighs 213g.
The Caps and Ferrules are hallmarked with the Lion Passant, Crown, J.H (Makers Mark for John Hunter) and the date letter N for 1880. The Caps depict a ram’s head and are beautiful in form.
A rare set in excellent condition that will only appreciate in value as time progresses.
