D2 steel is an air hardening, high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel. It has high wear and abrasion resistant properties. It is heat treatable and will offer a hardness in the range 55-62 HRC. It will keep its edge.
Water Buffalo Scales with Brass Pins & Steel Bolster. The Penknife features the stereotypical wide blade, with a steel end cap.
The full length of the Penknife when open is is 18 Cms. When closed, the piece measures 10 Cms. Leather Sheath also included.
It weighs precisely 85 grammes.
