On offer today is a Sheffield Sterling Silver handled Letter Opener. The piece is fully hallmarked bearing the Lion Passant, Crown & Monarch’s Head. The piece bears the Kings Husk pattern and features a mirror finished blade. Great condition. The piece also bears the Makers Mark SH – the Makers Mark for Samuel Harwood who was trading between 1839-1849, suggesting that this piece was made within this decade (date letter rubbed). Truly a beautiful piece. Total length 235mm weight 50 grammes. Very Rare. Supplied with a Presentation Case.
