This piece bears the Lion Passant (English Silver), the Crown (for Sheffield Assay Office) and the date letter I for 1983. The Makers Mark JD&S is also present on the handle, depicting the sought after James Dixon & Sons. This piece is in pristine condition and is accompanied by a presentation case.
The total length of the Letter Opener is 21.5 cm and the weight is 67 grammes.
