The Père David antler comes from the Père David’s deer, also known as Milu or Elaphure. It is a species of deer that became extinct in the wild, but has since been reintroduced into some areas. The Milu is native to the river valleys of China, where the animal once roamed on marshes & plains. The antler is incredibly rare but has thankfully been conserved and protected. A beautiful material that is naturally shed every year.

We handpick our stock of antler to ensure that we use only the finest materials to craft our handmade Carving Sets, Steak Knives & other Stag Antler Giftware. As the images show the antler/horn is heavily textured, rich in colour, superb in quality & brilliant to use.
