On offer today is a Sheffield Solid Silver Bladed, Mother of Pearl Handled Letter Opener. The piece bears the Lion Passant (English Silver), the Monarchs Head and the date letter P for 1810. The handle is Mother of Pearl, deep and rich with range of colour reflecting in the light – truly a magnificent piece. Pristine condition. Total length 180mm weight 33 grammes. The piece also bears the Makers Mark MB – the Makers Mark for the highly sought after Moses Brent. Very Rare. Supplied with a Presentation Case.
