Made in Sheffield England from Carbon Steel and Sterling Silver handles. The Carving Knife measures 37 cm in length and weighs 130 grammes. The Carving Fork measures 27 cm long and weighs 99 grammes with a fully integral spring loaded guard. The Carving Steel measures 32 cm and weighs 180 grammes. The Game Carving Knife Measures 30 cm and weighs 99 grammes, Game Fork measures 24.5cm and weighs 95 grammes. The springs in the guards of the Carving & Game Fork are fantastic, like they were manufactured yesterday.
The Handles are Sterling Silver, fully hallmarked for Sheffield with the Lion Passant, Crown and the date letter p for 1932. Each piece also bears the Makers Mark EV – the Makers Mark for the magnificent E Viner. Truly a beautiful set, fully original. Each Handle is genuine Silver polished to perfection. A very rare set in excellent condition that will only appreciate in value as time progresses. We cannot emphasise the standard of this set – it is absolutely superb; one of the best examples we have restored in our factory.
