Fantastic opportunity to purchase a Carbon Steel blade mother of pearl pen/pocket knife Made in Sheffield. Manufactured by the fantastic Joseph Westby (Manager and eventually partner of Brookes & Crookes).
Fully restored by our craftsmen, it is always a great pleasure to see some fantastic pieces pass through our factory. We are just as passionate with what we manufacture as we are with what we have the opportunity of restoring.
Full brass linings all filed throughout the piece and workback to all blades, a fantastic showpiece. The Mother of Pearl is tremendous, rich in colour and deep in pattern. A beautiful example. Blade 1 measures 4cm. Blade 2 measures 2.5cm. Scissors measures 4.5 cm. The File measures 5.5cm. The Button Hook 4cm and lastly, the Spike 2cm. Closed length measures 7cm. Open length measures 17cm. The piece weighs 40 grammes, feel great in the hand and would be an excellent addition to any collection. Hardly any use – all parts have an excellent spring and snap. One not to miss!
All Blades will be sharpened by hand in our factory for you, ready to be admired and enjoyed for many years to come.
