Here is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a Genuine Handmade Sheffield Stag Horn Handled Sgian Bru with a Damascus Steel Blade. The item is called a Sgian Bru as it features a Bottle Opener in the tip of the blade. All of our Sgian Bru Blades are forged in Sheffield in our factory and are ground to a good edge. The Blade measures 3 1/2 inches. The Handle is made out of ethically sourced Scottish Stag Antler Horn that we cut to size and finished off with a Stainless Steel Cap that we grind to a smooth finish. Each piece is completely unique. All hand finished from start to finish in our Sheffield factory.
The Damascus Blade is forged out of 1095 and 15N20 Carbon Steel and then etched to create a beautiful Damascus pattern that is completely unrivalled. The Sgian Bru measures 18.5 cms and weighs 100 grammes. The piece is supplied in a Presentation box along with a Genuine Leather Sheath.
The Stag Horn is a natural material that falls off the Deer’s head every year in the British Countryside. All of our antlers are ethically sourced across Britain from the woodlands of England & the Highlands of Scotland. We collect the antlers and use them for a variety of our products, from Steak Knives & Forks to Carving Sets. Red Deer first migrated from Europe to Britain over 11,000 years ago & are Britain’s largest land mammal. Please note the Stag Antler can vary in colour & texture from handle to handle as it is a natural product.
