Welcome to The Sheffield Cutlery Shop’s latest collection of Antique Pen/Pocket Knives!
This Joseph Rodgers penknife features luminous Mother of Pearl scales and a beautifully polished Silver blade, hallmarked with the Crown, Lion Passant and date letter A for 1918. The age of this knife is shown in the presence of a Shield Inlay – created by a difficult manufacturing process using a tool called a parser. This is a skill that unfortunately has not stood the test of time.
When fully open, the knife measures 10.5 cm. When closed, the knife measures 6.5 cm. The Pocket Knife weighs 18 grammes.
