Description

Welcome to The Sheffield Cutlery Shop’s latest collection of Antique Pen/Pocket Knives!

This William Nowill penknife features luminous Mother of Pearl scales and a beautifully polished Silver blade, hallmarked with the Crown, Lion Passant and date letter B for 1900. The age of this knife is shown in the presence of a Shield Inlay – created by a difficult manufacturing process using a tool called a parser. This is a skill that unfortunately has not stood the test of time.

The backwork to this piece is truly astonishing and the spring are in fantastic condition.

When fully open, the knife measures 13 cm. When closed, the knife measures 7.5 cm. The Pocket Knife weighs 20 grammes.

This timeless penknife would surely grace anyone’s collection. Please see our ‘Pen Knives’ categories for more.
