This J. Clarke & Sons Penknife features richly coloured Buffalo scales and 6 beautifully polished blades and tools, including:
1x Large blade 5cms
1x Corkscrew 4cms
1x Tin opener 3cms
1x Malin spike 4cms
1x Toothpick 4cms
1x Tweezers 4cms
This Penknife dates back to circa 1890, a fabulous little piece of history. As shown by the presence of the Shield Inlay – a difficult manufacturing process completed using a tool called a parser. This is a skill that unfortunately has not stood the test of time.
When fully open, the knife measures 13 cm. The Pocket Knife weights 46 grammes.
